Research

Meredith is a ‘pracdemic’ that transcends both academic and industry contexts. Her research activities are primarily focused in the areas of sustainable tourism policy, planning and destination development, management and marketing across national, state and local levels in Australia, and more recently for Petra, Jordan. She also has an interest in wellness tourism research.

In addition Meredith:

  • Has a solid and growing list of publications targeting high quality, high impact academic journals in related areas of tourism
  • Regularly reviews academic articles for the Journal of Sustainable Tourism and Annals of Tourism Research.
  • Presents scholarly presentations to both international academic and industry audiences.
  • Continues to supervise PhD candidates and examine PhD theses.
