Meredith has extensive experience as a Senior Lecturer, working at the School of Tourism and Hospitality Management at Southern Cross University from 2006 to 2014. As an educator, she is still actively involved in the design and delivery of curriculum for education related to sustainable tourism, tourism management and marketing for Universities and private education providers.
She is also passionate about improving the capacity and professionalism of regional tourism managers and in 2016 formed a partnership with Dr Ros Derrett to design and deliver regional tourism capacity building programs for tourism stakeholder organisations – click here to see more
Meredith returned to Southern Cross University as a casual Lecturer in October 2015 teaching on a casual basis in the Masters of International Management program.
She is also invited as an expert speaker related to sustainable tourism and destination management planning. Recent examples include:
